playing hooky

I went home really early yesterday, in time for the sun to still be out! To celebrate I went for a run. Using http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/ I found that I ran 2.25 miles in my 'hood. I timed myself, it only took 24 minutes! That is an average of 10.66 min/mile. Its a really fast time for me, so I'm hoping by May when I run that 5k I can beat my college time of 30.30 minutes.

    That's awesome!! Wow, I'm going to have to pick up my time if I want to run with you in May. I'm starting my training when I get back from Utah on the 23rd.

    Thanks! I totally surprised myself. I live in a relatively hilly area and didn't pause my watch at traffic lights (about 30-60 sec) so I'm really looking forward to the flat USC course!
